Casasele 202 is a designer studio apartment in Nerima-ku, Tokyo, a 4-minute walk from Hikawadai Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho and Fukutoshin lines. You rent the entire 25 m² apartment — kitchen, washing machine, private bathroom with bathtub and shower, separate toilet — not a room in a shared house. This is the official direct-booking website, so you book directly with the owner.
The studio has 2 double beds plus a sofa bed, air conditioning with heating and cooling, a large TV, free home wi-fi, and keyless entry with a passcode. Our booking system takes up to 4 guests. There is a 24-hour gym opposite the road, and two registered shopping streets at the station.
What do you get for ¥9,700 a night?
That is the from-price for the entire self-contained apartment, and nightly rates vary by date. It comes with a gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, pans and tableware, a washing machine with detergent, a vacuum cleaner, an iron, a hairdryer, towels and basic toiletries.
What is the catch — is there an elevator?
No, there is no elevator. The studio is on the 2nd floor, so you carry your luggage up the stairs. The owner's own words: “the stair is pretty easy to climb and bring your luggages.” If you need step-free access, our Kaza 503 apartment is in an elevator building instead.
Getting around
Hikawadai Station is a 4-minute walk. Ikebukuro is about 8 minutes away on a direct train, Shinjuku-sanchome about 14 minutes and Shibuya about 20 minutes on the Fukutoshin Line. Iidabashi is about 20 minutes on the Yurakucho Line. The owner notes the last train runs until around midnight, so you can stay out across Tokyo and still get home.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo — The Making of Harry Potter is in the same ward, about 25–30 minutes away. Haneda Airport is about 58 minutes via Ikebukuro; Narita about 1 hour 16 minutes via Ikebukuro and the Skyliner.
What is the neighbourhood like?
Hikawadai is a quiet residential part of Nerima-ku with families living around it, two registered shopping streets at the station, a Summit supermarket about 120 m away, a Maibasket about 157 m away, and a 24-hour Seven-Eleven about 96 m away with three FamilyMarts within about 200 m. It is everyday Tokyo rather than a tourist district — one short hop from Ikebukuro and Sunshine City.
