Where should we stay for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo?
Somewhere on the same side of Tokyo as the studio. Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo — The Making of Harry Potter sits on the former Toshimaen site in Nerima-ku, the same ward as Kaza 103. From Hikawadai the route runs via Kotake-mukaihara and Nerima to the Seibu Toshima Line for Toshimaen, then a 2-minute walk — about 25 to 30 minutes door to door.
Why an apartment instead of a hotel near Toshimaen?
Kaza 103 is a whole apartment for six with its own kitchen and washing machine, which matters after a long day at the studio tour: cook a late dinner, wash the day's clothes, and nobody is splitting the group across hotel rooms.
Getting around
Hikawadai is served directly by the Yurakucho and Fukutoshin lines. Ikebukuro is about 8 minutes away; Higashi-Ikebukuro, for Sunshine City and the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo inside it, is about 13 minutes on the Yurakucho Line plus a 3-minute walk. Shinjuku-sanchome is about 14 minutes and Shibuya about 20 minutes on the Fukutoshin Line. Haneda Airport is roughly 58 minutes via Ikebukuro. All times are approximate.
The neighbourhood is calm and residential — quiet at night, with a Seven-Eleven about 96 m from the station, a Summit supermarket about 120 m, and two officially registered shopping streets at the station.
Honest limitations
Kaza 103 is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to climb and no elevator to wait for. The apartment is fully self-contained; you share no space with other guests, and the hosts live nearby if you need help. Two things guests do mention: the Japanese air conditioner takes a few minutes to make a difference after you switch it on, and some guests get off at Sakuradai by mistake instead of Hikawadai — message us for a map pin. There is no parking on the premises, though there is coin parking nearby; we cannot store luggage after checkout; and smoking, pets and parties are not permitted.
