Kaza 503 — a Tokyo apartment with an elevator and step-free access
Kaza 503 is a 5th-floor apartment in an elevator building in Nerima-ku, Tokyo, with step-free access from the elevator to the door. The owner describes it as comfortable for older travelers, anyone with mobility concerns, or families with strollers — and there are no steps to haul heavy suitcases up between the lift and your room.
Two bedrooms, 4 semi-double beds, sleeps up to 6. A living and dining area, a full kitchen and a washing machine, in a quiet residential building. New beds were recently installed in all rooms, and the apartment is professionally cleaned before every stay. This is the official direct-booking website, so you book directly with the owner.
Does this Tokyo apartment have an elevator?
Yes. Kaza 503 sits on the 5th floor of an elevator building, and the owner describes step-free access from the elevator to the apartment door — no steps to haul bags up between the lift and your room. We cannot confirm whether the building entrance itself has a step, so we do not claim step-free access all the way from the street.
Which of your other homes have stairs?
Only two of them. Casasele 202 and Casasele 302 are upper-floor studios with no elevator, so luggage goes up the stairs there. Kaza 101, 103 and 105 are on the ground floor, so there are no stairs and no elevator needed, and Casasele 102 is a ground-floor studio for the same reason. Kaza 503 itself is on the 5th floor of an elevator building. If step-free access from the elevator matters to you, Kaza 503 is the one to book.
Getting around from Kaza 503
Hikawadai Station is a 4-minute walk. It is served by the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line (Y05) and Fukutoshin Line (F05), with direct trains to Ikebukuro in about 8 minutes — one short hop for shopping, food and onward connections. Shinjuku-sanchome is about 14 minutes and Shibuya about 20 minutes on the Fukutoshin Line.
For everyday shopping without a long walk, the Summit Store Hikawadai Ekimae supermarket is roughly 120 m from the station, with a Seven-Eleven about 96 m away and three FamilyMart stores within about 200 m, all open 24 hours. Two registered shopping streets sit right at the station.
