Can a group of 9–18 people stay together?
Yes. Seven of the nine homes sit in just two buildings, each about a 4-minute walk from Hikawadai Station in Nerima-ku. Three Kaza apartments take 18 guests between them, and mixing Kaza apartments with Casasele studios covers group sizes in between — one host, two buildings, separate front doors.
Kaza — four 2-bedroom apartments, Nerima-ku
Retro-Japanese two-bedroom apartments with a full kitchen and washing machine, up to 6 guests each, about 4 minutes on foot from Hikawadai Station. The hosts live nearby and can meet guests at the station when their schedule permits. Kaza 503 is on the 5th floor with step-free access from the elevator; 101, 103 and 105 are on the ground floor, so no elevator is needed.

Kimiko Jujo House — Tokyo
A 72 m² two-storey whole home for up to 8 guests, with ukiyo-e murals in each of the three bedrooms, a Japanese soaking tub, a projector and a full kitchen. The owner describes it as about 11 minutes by direct train from Shinjuku.
Sunny House — whole house with parking, Kita-ku
An entire three-storey house for up to 8 guests, about a 4-minute walk from JR Kami-Nakazato Station, with direct trains to Ueno, Akihabara and Tokyo Station. Two bedrooms with four double beds, a living room with a sofa bed, a full kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, two separate toilets, a washing machine and an on-site parking space.
Getting around
Hikawadai Station is served by the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line (Y05) and Fukutoshin Line (F05): about 8 minutes direct to Ikebukuro, about 14 minutes to Shinjuku-sanchome, about 20 minutes to Shibuya and about 20 minutes to Iidabashi. Supermarkets and 24-hour convenience stores are within a few minutes’ walk, and two officially registered shotengai shopping streets at the station.
How far is the Harry Potter studio tour?
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo — The Making of Harry Potter stands on the former Toshimaen site in Nerima-ku, the same ward as the Kaza and Casasele buildings. From Hikawadai Station it is about 25–30 minutes, changing at Kotake-mukaihara and Nerima for the Seibu Toshima Line to Toshimaen.
What are the honest limitations?
Only two of the seven are reached by stairs: Casasele 202 and 302, upper-floor studios in a building with no elevator. Kaza 101, 103, 105 and Casasele 102 are all on the ground floor, and Kaza 503 is on the 5th floor of an elevator building with step-free access from the lift. The Casasele studios accept up to 4 guests each, whatever other listing sites say, because that is what the booking system enforces.
